Excavator Hydraulic Hose
The quality of hydraulic hoses and connections must meet the requirements of the surrounding conditions, oil flow and pressure, oil quality and adaptation. For the safety of the transportation company, the quality of the rubber inside the hose must be able to withstand the mechanical stresses of oil flow and pressure as well as the constant bending of the hose as it moves. Small pieces of rubber can clog filters, and in some systems they can clog valve blocks and damage hydraulic pumps. Rubber must be suitable for use with chemicals used in hydraulic oil over a wide temperature range to avoid dissolving foreign chemicals in the oil. Small changes in oil consistency may alter the characteristics of the oil and cause premature wear and damage to carriers and accessories. In particular, some biodegradable oils may contain chemicals that can damage hydraulic systems.
The inside of the hose usually has a fabric and steel braid as well as a radial steel wire reinforcement to withstand the internal pressure. The construction is designed to handle a certain constant pressure as well as possible peaks within that pressure range. The maximum working pressure is stamped on the hose and should never be exceeded.
