Industrial Hose for Construction

Industrial hoses can be made from many different products, such as silicone, rubber, PVC, metal, and more. Different applications have different needs depending on the material passing through the hose. Consider temperature, weight, pressure and the type of material that needs to be conveyed when selecting industrial hose. We offer a variety of industrial hoses to provide the perfect choice for your application.

Basic hose construction

Hydraulic rubber hoses are becoming increasingly popular in the transfer of pressure hydraulic fluids due to their excellent flexibility, affordability and durability. Generally speaking, hydraulic hoses are composed of at least three parts: an inner tube that carries fluid, a reinforcement that supports the tube, and an outer layer that is wear-resistant and ozone-resistant.
Inner tube
The inner tube should be compatible with the fluid it carries and have some flexibility. Commonly used materials for making pipes are synthetic rubber, thermoplastics, and polytetrafluoroethylene. They are friendly to most petroleum-based and water-based hydraulic fluids. If the hose reacts with the fluid, the hose will be prone to leaking or causing an accident. When you are unsure about the relationship between a tube and the media it carries, please consult us and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Enhance
Hoses Reinforced hoses are considered jackets to protect fragile pipes. It uses multiple layers of braided fabric, steel wire, or spirally wound steel wire. They can support different levels of pressure depending on your application. Typically, fabric reinforcements, whether single or double-layered, are ideal for tight wiring and low-pressure systems such as return and extraction systems. Braided wire and spiral wire are often used for high operating pressures. If the system has high impact fatigue requirements, spiral steel wire reinforcement is preferred.
The cap is the first barrier to protecting your hose. Typically made from abrasion-resistant, weather-resistant synthetic rubber to resist oils, chemicals, ozone and other environmental stressors.
