Braided hydraulic hoses can be divided into various types according to the number of layers. Here we will introduce two types of wire braided hydraulic hoses that are widely used in the market. They are single-wire braided hose and double-wire braided hose.
Wire braided hoses can be used to transport petrochemicals and hydraulic fluids at higher pressures and temperatures. In addition, oil resistant steel wire braided hoses can provide a flexible connection between steel tubes in hydraulic systems. It is used in industrial applications such as hydraulic supports for mines, automatic hydraulic systems for oilfield extraction machinery, mining engineering, etc., especially as electric drill components. Stainless Steel Braided Hose
316L-core stainless steel braided hose with 321 stainless steel double braid for increased hose pressure. The corrugated core is flexible to limit kinking. It is typically used in high-temperature vacuum and high-pressure corrosive environments or where penetration is undesirable.
Sizes range from 1/4 in. to 2 in. with working pressures from vacuum to 6000 psig (413 bar), and standard and custom assemblies are available, with options including hose covers, hose tags, and additional helium leak testing.
Textile Braided Hose
A textile braided hose is a hydraulic hose made of multiple layers of fabric or yarn. The inner layer of the hose is usually made of a synthetic rubber material, while the reinforcement layer is made of a textile material.
The layers are then bonded together using a special adhesive or vulcanization process. The result is a strong, flexible and durable hose.
In contrast to steel wire reinforced hose, textile braided reinforced hydraulic hose is designed for low to medium pressure hydraulic hose applications.
